The "National Tourist Calendar" for Albania was presented this Friday, which will now be accessed through an application.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has stated that this calendar has been finalized after a long work of years and enables tourists from all over the world to get to know our country in all directions.
"The Cultural and Artistic Calendar is a work started years ago together with Mirela, and today it is in a new phase, but in continuous development because we strongly believe that touristic Albania is beyond the wonderful waters of the sea, beyond the magical peaks of the mountains , beyond the valleys of natural beauty as a whole and the reasons to visit are much more than that.
Joining our tourist offer of cultural heritage, art, cooking, more contemporary activities are an extraordinary opportunity to increase the capacity that Albania has in absorbing tourists from all over the world and in fact this calendar with this application becomes completely accessible. Everyone is informed in real time, by location, of every opportunity they have in a given perimeter to access theatre, concerts, parties, museums and more.”
The head of the government also emphasized that another program is in the initial phase, that of the development of art in public space.
"On the other hand, we are also working on the physical touch on the territory of a touristic Albania that appears with all its senses by developing a new program for art in public space, which is still in its infancy, but step by step it will be a added value. This application is a reflection of a work in the entire territory of the country, everything is now collected in one place and published and at the same time made available to anyone through interaction with all institutions, which the National Tourism Agency has begun to do.
