Albi Gumeni, 29 years old, one of the 13-year-old students who were allegedly sexually harassed by the physical education teacher at the 9-year-old school in Tepelena, Kleanth Laçi, was released from the premises of the Tepelena Police Station.

His detention in the isolation rooms at the police station did not even exceed the limits of 48 hours as the prosecutor's office of Gjirokastra called his arrest illegal two days ago after he surrendered to the police station after the violence against the 59-year-old teacher.

It is known that the release of the young man from the isolation rooms was made through a special order from the prosecutor Edlira Manelli, who assessed Gumeni's arrest as illegal since he had not caused damage that could cause the death of the teacher Kleanthi Laçi. Accordingly, the perpetrator of the latter is cleared of any charges brought against him and is therefore free.
