After leaving SPAK, where he was acquainted with the investigation file on Sterilization, the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, who is accused of abuse of office, said that together with the lawyer, they were acquainted with only 15 fascicles.

"The lawyer and I managed to see 15 bundles. The file is voluminous, but the law allows only 10 days.

In continuation of the rights we have, we have submitted memos, we have made requests for additional investigative actions and we have also requested that I give my statements and be questioned again by the investigators," stated Beqaj.

Beqaj said that the fees to receive the file are about 10 million ALL. He had earlier refused to pay.

"At this stage, I have agreed with a lawyer and until the end of the trial, the law firm pays for the law and in the end does the bills for me.

The fees are not small and to get a USB each of us must pay 10 million ALL. These are the tariffs in force that we have been forced to follow the process that has started for several weeks", said Beqaj.
