The action of the PD deputy, Saimir Koreshi, who went to the Assembly today with a bouquet of wheat, was surprising.
Since Koreshi represents Lushnja, he has brought something from the farmers of this area.
In a statement to the media, Koreshi showed the reason why he had gone to the Parliament with a bouquet of wheat, adding that he would remind the government, especially the Minister of Agriculture, about the broken promises. According to him, the price of wheat is very low compared to that on the stock exchange.
"From the farmers of Myzeqe, addressed to the government, but in particular to the Minister of Agriculture, who promised everyone to plant wheat in April as well. Today I am bringing you the wheat, since you got the vote. That comes a little in the price. Not only did we not receive subsidies or oil, but today in the stock market...they will continue to lie today, that there in the stock market it is at 22 dollars per quintal. For all people, farmers have come out with losses. So let's give them some money by subsidizing them," he said.
