The 46-year-old woman tries several times to kill her Albanian husband with rat

Several times in a row she tried to kill her husband with rat poison and at the end of an investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of Rimini, she was put in handcuffs. The arrested person is a 46-year-old woman of Moldovan origin, denounced after her Albanian husband was hospitalized several times.

According to the investigations of the Italian authorities, the 46-year-old woman had poisoned her 54-year-old husband several times. Investigations began in July 2022 and revealed that she had attempted to kill the man using rat poison.

The Italian media, which conveys the news, say that the analysis showed that the blood of the 54-year-old had traces of Bromadiolone and Coumatetralyl, chemical elements found in this poison.

But the suspicions did not arise from the husband. In the past months, he had actually been hospitalized several times in Rimini, almost always with the same symptoms.

When he presented himself to the hospital for the umpteenth time, the medical team decided to find out more about the cause, requesting tests that confirmed he had been poisoned. At this point, doctors compared the tests with the previous times he had been hospitalized and realized that every time the 54-year-old had been hospitalized, it had been because he had taken doses of the lethal substance.

In the clear panorama that led to the woman's denunciation, until her arrest after the investigations of the Prosecutor's Office of Rimini.

Her arrest took place on June 28, then she was placed under house arrest in her mother's apartment. The arrest came after the testimony of the Albanian husband, who told the investigators that the only person who could poison his food was his wife. In the couple's house, the authorities also found a syringe with a suspected poisonous substance, but it has been sent for expertise.

The 46-year-old woman herself, through her lawyer, has denied the accusations.
