Berisha's lawyer accuses SPAK prosecutor: You are politically motivated!

Sali Berisha continues to deny that he has been notified by SPAK to be questioned regarding the bloody protest of January 21, although the Special Prosecution Office said today that it has attempted to reach the leader of the Democratic Party at two addresses and via email.

The latest reaction comes from his lawyer, Genc Gjokutaj, who accuses SPAK prosecutor Alfred Shehu of lying and being politically captured by the government.

According to Gjokutaj, Berisha was at SPAK on November 13, and the prosecutor had the opportunity to invite him for questioning at that moment.

Question: why didn't you invite him to be questioned that day since he was at SPAK's premises?

But for the next date, 14.11.2025, why didn't you communicate it since you weren't allowed to complete the question that day?

We knew that you were politically caught in the crossfire, but for the State Prosecutor to lie about the Government is criminal, immoral, and unworthy institutional behavior that must be despised and forcefully denounced every day!
