These are the Rrajas of Nikla who beat, film, and distribute the video as a form of pressure for others and as a challenge for the Police itself. For that Policeman who has been aware of their deeds for years, but who, by not receiving reports or withdrawing them, has always turned a blind eye.

Such a scene does not happen in the Middle Ages, nor in times of anarchy, but it happens today, in 2023, in Thumana. A village of Kruja, located 24 kilometers from Tirana.

There is a tribe that rules. No one touches them for years. The law is violated innocently and demonstratively in any case. One of them receives a symbolic punishment and returns to freedom even stronger than before.

They constitute a mix of legal and illegal activities. Politics, drugs, violence and quarries. A panorama as funny as it is scary of the transition that is not ending.

While the one who has represented them for 20 years is Rrahman Rraja. Deputy of two legislatures in the Parliament of Albania, who resigned only after his brothers and son occupied the television screens by brutally beating two cousins ​​who had complained about the works in their quarry.

Until 2018, when his son was first denounced in the media as a rapist, no one had heard Rrahman Rraja's voice. He had not spoken once in the Assembly. And yet he became famous.

He got fame, not from some impressive speech for the good of Nikla's community that he represented, but when his son raped his ex-girlfriend and then forced her to publicly deny the violence.

When his nephew brutally raped a woman in front of the QSUT. When his cousin was arrested for the assassination of a prosecutor. When the nephew appeared in Belgian wiretapping as part of a drug ring. He became famous for the laws his people broke.

While his brother, Xelal Rraja, who is currently being sought together with Rrahman's other brother and son, who bears the name of their father, a few months ago dared to insult and threaten the director of the Criminal Police. And he made this threat in front of the door of the Police Directorate of Tirana. In the eyes of all Albanians, when the microphones of all televisions were directed at him.

Xelal Rraja seems to be the originator of every attack, who thanks to the support given by his brother 3 years younger, sometimes in the Municipality of Nikla, sometimes in the Municipality of Kruja and then in the Parliament, managed to escape the handcuffs , as it happened this time.

Rrahman Rrahja, now a former deputy of the Socialist Party in Krujë, notes in his CV that he graduated from the Agricultural High School in 1980. While he started high school 23 years later, in 2003. Redjan Rraja, currently 38 years old, dentist by profession, was sentenced to 8 months in prison by the Court of Tirana for the criminal offense of "actions that prevent the discovery of the truth", in connection with the murder of his friend, Elton Çiçë.

Rraja was accused of hiding the gun that the victim Çiçë was carrying, as well as the phone, in order to hide other information.

International anti-drug operation, Ramazan Rraja is arrested

On February 28, 2023, the court in Belgium sentenced Ramazan Rraja to 12 years in prison. He was found guilty by the court of cocaine trafficking, as part of an organized criminal group.

During the trial, the Public Prosecution described this criminal group as a "high" criminal organization that made huge profits from cocaine smuggling and trafficking.
