Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu has reacted after the false bomb alarm at the "Emin Duraku" school in Tirana, on the first day of classes.
The call about a bomb was made at around 06:30 in the morning, and after checks, the report turned out to be false. Investigations were immediately launched by the Anti-Terror structures, which traced the number from which the call was made.
Mandi Jatagani, who is known to have participated in the protests held for more than 105 days in front of the Prime Minister's Office, has been placed in handcuffs.
Full reaction:
A false bomb alarm in a school in Tirana, on the first day of school, when the courtyards are packed with children, is not a bitter joke, it is not a cynical test of the reflexes of the State Police, nor a random aberration of an immature mind, but a genuine criminal madness.
This kind of madness, which is often tolerated under the alibi of unbridled "freedom", has nothing in common with true freedom.
To those who pollute the protest, who confuse freedom with the anarchy of their empty minds, turning our public space into a field of failed experiments, the law must quickly show them that Albania is not a theater where they can play their sick plays for free.
Rejecting these abnormal behaviors should be the stance of the entire society.
