American actress Jane Fonda has revealed that she has been diagnosed with cancer. The 84-year-old said it through a post on Instagram.
“So, my dear friends, I have something personal that I want to share. I have been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and have started chemotherapy.
This is a very curable cancer. 80% of people survive, so I feel very lucky," said the actress.
Jane, who has battled the disease before, said she was lucky to have health insurance and access to the best doctors and treatment.
The star of "Georgia Rule" indicated that he has been undergoing chemotherapy for about six months and "the treatments are going quite well".
