The Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC) has verified the security measures for those arrested in a case related to money laundering investigations, conducted in cooperation with Italian authorities.
The trial panel decided to leave in force the "prison arrest" measure for Edi Brahaj, Ergys Kastrati and Saimir Pirra, while the "house arrest" measure was confirmed for Dritan Buzi.
The court also changed the security measure for Lefter Nelaj, replacing "prison arrest" with "compulsion to appear".
Investigations into this matter continue in cooperation with Italian authorities, in the context of suspicions of organized money laundering activity.
