Aristir Dimo, 65 years old, was put in handcuffs yesterday after he is accused of causing a fatal accident with his vehicle, a 20-year-old man a few days ago in the ring road of the city of Elbasan.

Panorama TV reports that Dimo ​​is the honorary consul of Bulgaria in our country.

The sources indicate that after causing the accident to the 20-year-old, the driver of the vehicle crossed the road where he had started at a certain distance. Then he returned again towards Tirana, where it is suspected that he did some actions to lose track of the serious event.

Dimo left the capital and again followed the route from Elbasan towards Qafë Thana where he crossed the border. He stayed for several days in Bulgaria and returned again yesterday.

It is learned that at the moment when he crossed the border point, he was handcuffed by the police. He was discovered by the prosecutor's office of Elbasan after the interceptions carried out in the last three days, leading the investigative authorities to conclude that he was the cause of the accident that happened in Elbasan.

According to Panorama TV, another piece of evidence that directly implicates Dimo ​​in this event is the headlight of his vehicle, which was found broken on the ground immediately after the event by the investigative team.

The materials related to this case have already been handed over to the Prosecution at the Elbasan Court of First Instance, for further action.
