New details have come to light from the serious injury that occurred yesterday evening in Shkodër, where uncle Zyhdi Shpejtimi shot his nephew Bledar Trashani with a knife.

The 44-year-old injured man is in serious condition in the regional hospital of Shkodra in the intensive care unit. Although at the moment his condition is still stable, the 44-year-old has not passed the danger to his life.

Trashani received a serious wound in his abdomen, damaging several organs and forcing him to undergo a difficult operation. In the meantime, it is learned that 78-year-old Zyhdi Shpejtimi, the suspected author of the injury, is known to have been drunk at the time he shot his nephew with a knife.

The elderly man was immediately arrested by the Shkodra local police. After being handcuffed during his testimony, Trashani stated that he shot his nephew because he thought he had molested his uncle's daughter-in-law. The nephew clarified that this claim is absurd, but the uncle was not convinced and in a drunken state took a knife to his house and seriously injured the 44-year-old Trashani.

Zyhdi Shpejtimi, after this event, is known to be suspected of the criminal offense of "attempted murder". Immediately after this event that happened in the center of the city of Shkodra, after the Regional Directorate of Taxes, the police arrived and arrested the 78-year-old.

Meanwhile, the wounded man was immediately taken to the regional hospital of Shkodra in a serious state of health. The 44-year-old had lost a lot of blood, but the rapid transport to the hospital and the operation at the right time meant that he is currently in a stable condition, although the danger to his life has not yet passed. The investigative group continues its work for the complete disclosure of this incident between the relatives.
