SERIOUS accident in Debar, pregnant woman injured!

A road accident occurred on the Maqellarë-Peshkopi national road , in a place called Melan .

According to preliminary information, two vehicles collided with each other.

As a result of the accident, a married couple was injured and transported by ambulance to Peshkopia Hospital for medical assistance.

It is learned that the injured woman was pregnant.

Police services have arrived at the scene, and are conducting investigations to determine the causes of the accident.

It is suspected that dense fog and the presence of ice on the road may have contributed to the collision.

Authorities are appealing to drivers to exercise increased caution, reduce speed, and respect traffic rules.
