The University Trauma Hospital (SUT) announces that the multidisciplinary team has been on standby and has been dynamically monitoring the patients involved in the accident that occurred on the Tirana-Durres highway.

According to the official announcement, 5 patients who were reported conscious and stabilized yesterday, after medical treatment and according to the relevant protocols, have been discharged from the hospital and are out of danger to their lives, on the advice of doctors.

Another patient is also expected to be discharged during the day, as his health condition has improved and is considered out of danger to his life.

Two patients continue to receive intensive treatment in the SUT Resuscitation Room: an 8-year-old minor, who is in stable vital parameters, as well as a 56-year-old female citizen of Czech citizenship and Vietnamese origin, who is in intensive monitoring and is in serious health condition due to multiple injuries, but with stable parameters.

Meanwhile, a 14-year-old boy is out of danger in the ward, under the care of medical staff, with injuries to his lower limbs.

According to SUT, the patients who continue to remain under observation in the Emergency Room and who have undergone surgical interventions are in a stable condition and will continue to be monitored intensively. Among them is a 20-year-old woman of Vietnamese origin and Czech citizenship.
