A serious accident was recorded on Friday evening on the Berat-Dimal road. According to the police, the car driven by 25-year-old AT hit a woman who was crossing the road with her minor child. As a result of the accident, the 30-year-old woman lost her life, while her 2-year-old child has no life-threatening problems.

"Around 18:35, on the "Berat-Dimal" road axis, in Morava, citizen AT, 25 years old, while driving his vehicle, hit citizen L. Gj., 30 years old, and her 2-year-old child (pedestrians). Citizen L. Gj., as a result of the injuries sustained, died, while her child has no life-threatening problems.

The driver of the vehicle is being escorted to the Police premises for further procedural actions.

"The investigation team is at the scene and continues to investigate the causes of the accident," the police announced.
