Academy of Sciences: Joining Albanological Studies, opportunities for

The Academy of Sciences of Albania has welcomed the Government's decision to merge with the Academy of Albanian Studies, considering it as a decision that gives both institutions the opportunity and responsibility for the development of Albanian sciences at a new level.

The reaction states that the new status given to the scientific institutes of Albanianology as an elite part of the scientific research system, after a period of activity not in accordance with the laws in force, will significantly strengthen the status of the scientific workers themselves.

" This decision expresses the increased interest and commitment of the government to increase and evidence funding and investments for scientific research, as it is doing with support for three major projects in Albanianology and for the establishment of new research-scientific units with national impact " , it is said, among other things, in the reaction.
