The media have published other details regarding the serious accident that happened yesterday in Tirana, where two parents and their 3-month-old child were hit by a car by a 39-year-old man.

According to media reports, the 48-year-old is called Arjan Konomi and his wife, Vilma Konomi. They had become parents after 20 years of relationship.

They were standing on the side of the road waiting for the traffic light to turn green so they could cross, and when they entered the white lines holding their baby stroller in their hands, a 39-year-old under the influence of narcotics hit them with a car.

By profession, Arjani is the director of education at the Ministry of Education, while Vilma is a pediatrician at Kombinat.

Fortunately, the baby has been released from the hospital while the parents are still hospitalized. The man has pelvic fractures and other fractures, while the woman had internal bleeding and is in stable condition in the ward.
