9 protesters are under investigation and will be prosecuted at large, Tirana Police announced, following the rally held yesterday evening.
The Blues argue that they have continued to remain on "Deshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard beyond the permitted hours, obstructing vehicle traffic.
"These citizens have stayed beyond the announced time for the rally, and have occupied public space, placing metal chairs and other objects on the boulevard.
"Despite repeated calls from police officers to vacate the occupied space and respect legal provisions, they have refused to leave and have continued to remain in this area," the Police explain.
Regarding the above, the police say that work continues to identify other persons responsible for such actions during the rally.
The procedural materials will be referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for the criminal offenses of "Obstructing the circulation of means of transport", "Disturbing public peace" and "Organizing and participating in illegal gatherings".
