In a statement after the meeting, Vengu announced that around 800 homes were affected by the water and 180 residents were evacuated.

"We have a situation with the presence of water in the former Kënetë, in Shkozet, the area of the former Nishtulla and all teams remain engaged on the ground, whether they are civilians or the Armed Forces, which came in the afternoon to support the teams of the Durrës municipality."
"We will not leave the terrain until the waters have completely receded. It will be a dynamic night, the rainfall will continue," said Vengu.
"We have a finding that we have 800 homes affected by water, with water present inside them. About 180 residents have been evacuated, who have been accommodated in two barracks of the Ministry of Interior and Defense and we will receive all the treatment, whether food or medical, if necessary, to get through this night and the early hours of the morning."
He said that significant flows are expected, " our entire focus is to prevent eventual situations in the Erzen basin because we do not want to have another dynamic situation there in Erzen and have problems in the Shijak area as well."
The Mayor of Durrës, Emiriana Sako, added that "in the first part of the day, most of those who answered the phone did not agree to be evacuated, but since the rains had high capacity and duration, we evacuated 180 people who were accommodated in barracks and were also provided with food."
