New details have been revealed from the discovery of hundreds of thousands of undeclared euros this afternoon inside a bus in the Port of Durrës.

The person you see in the following photos is Elidon Çela, the arrested bus driver, who is also the owner of the international passenger transport agency "Buon Aventura".

Çela has been caught other times by the Police with undeclared money, but with smaller amounts than today's. Also, he has been caught several times bringing stolen goods to Albania.

The money was hidden on the ceiling of the bus that had left from the bar of Italy, in a place near the air conditioner, divided into 6 plastic bags, as you can see in the following photos.

The hidden money was caught by the scanner, where, as seen in the following photos, the black trace left on the scanner is highlighted even more red with the "red" alert.

The police say that in addition to Elidon Çela, several other people were also accompanied, while the work continues for the correct counting of the amount of euros and for the identification and capture of the people involved.

Police Notification:

In the port of Durrës, as a result of a one-month investigation carried out by the Criminal Police of DVP Durres, for the possibility of introducing a large amount of euros into our country, through the port of Durres, during today's day, within the police operation coded "Euros", a detailed control was exercised by the Section against Economic and Financial Crime of DVP Durrës.

As a result of information and detailed control, 6 plasma bags were found hidden in the upper part of a bus, inside which there were several packages, with around 500,000 euros.

Several people have been accompanied by the DVP Durrës Police and the work continues for the correct counting of the amount of euros and for the identification and capture of the persons involved.
