Tirana/Traffic Police continues the checks dedicated to the identification and punishment of violators of traffic rules who are a potential risk for involvement in traffic incidents.

As a result of the controls, during one week, the Traffic Police of Tirana has hit 11 cases of bribery, with the aim of avoiding administrative measures.

The number of cases of attempts to bribe the Traffic Police employees, hit during this year, by the Traffic Police of Tirana reaches 161.

During preventive checks, the services of the Traffic Police have stopped the vehicles driven by citizens: IK, 30 years old, NA, 48 years old, EH, 29 years old, BA, 29 years old, NP, 63 years old, G. Xh., 50 years old, EL, 30 years old, MM, 37 years old, AD, 51 years old, VK, 39 years old and LH, 32 years old, who, in order to avoid administrative measures for the committed violations, have offered different amounts of money to Police employees.

The Traffic Police of Tirana appeals to all road users to strictly follow the traffic rules and invites citizens to report any violation of the traffic rules to the number 112 and to the Digital Police Station.
