5 million euros 'on the head' of Erion Alibej. Among those arrested in
Flobens Meçja / Franc Çopja

Flobens Meçja, also known by the surnames Gega and Drini, is among the people arrested during the Durrës police operation at a restaurant in the Lalëzi area.

The 43-year-old was wanted on suspicion of being an active member of a criminal group. More specifically, his name appears in several conversations on "Sky ECC" with Franc Çopja, who offers him 5 million euros for the murder of Erion Alibej, known by the nickname "Krymi" in Elbasan.

In the same conversations, Çopja offers 1 million euros each for the murder of citizens Arjan Spahiu, Aldo Baho and citizen Ilir Lloshi, who is referred to by the pseudonym 'Liçe'. In these conversations, which are in SPAK files, Flobens Meçja expresses his willingness to carry out the murders.

According to these conversations, at one point, Flobens Meçja tells Franc Çopja that with this figure he was retiring him, implying that he no longer needed to commit murder.

The talks were held at the height of the clash between rival gangs in the city of Elbasan, killings that followed the Bradashesh massacre, where among the victims was Endrit Alibej, the brother of Erion Alibej. The massacre followed the latter's revenge, who ordered the killing of several people he suspected of being the perpetrators.
