U21 / The national team defeats Ukraine with two goals at Elbasan Arena

After Moldova, the U21 National Team also won the friendly match against Ukraine. At the Elbasan Arena, the red and black team led by Alban Bushi defeated the Ukrainian 21-year-olds with a score of 2-0 after a very good match where Ermir Rashica and Gjergji Kote became the protagonists with their goals.

The Reds started the match very well as they created two scoring chances with Rashica in the 5th and 12th minutes but without success. In the 39th minute, Alban Bush's team unlocked the score with Rashica and the teams went into the break with the score 1-0 in favor of the little Reds.

In the second half, the U21 National Team was managing the created advantage well, but in the extra minutes of the match, they scored another goal, this time with Koten, to seal the 2-0 victory for our U21 team.

We recall that both of these friendly matches with Moldova and Ukraine were within the framework of preparations for the 2027 European Under-21 Championship.
