Striker Edon Zhegrova spoke for the first time, after being excluded from the Kosovo team, in the League of Nations matches.

Zhegrova said that the decision was not taken by the coach, but by the Football Federation of Kosovo. According to him, the news that he had been to the nightclub was false, as the reason was the delay in the team meeting.

"It was not the coach who made the decision, but the Federation. That was the reason that made me nervous. There are some people who don't love you and talk bad about you. I know myself as a professional. I saw the news that I went to a nightclub. I am not this. If it had happened, pictures or videos would have come out. It was fake news. The worst thing is that the decision was not taken by the coach, but by FFK. I was a little late. I think that if you are late for the meeting, the decision is taken by the coach and not by the Federation. However, now it's over and it doesn't matter to me", declared Zhegrova.

The exclusion of Zhegrova, along with Muric and Muslija, came after the match with Romania, where Kosovo was defeated 3-0 at home.
