The Champions League has ended its second week, with nine matches bringing plenty of surprises.

Champions Real Madrid took a surprise defeat to Lille 1-0, with a penalty from David that decided the encounter.

Another surprising defeat was bayern munich, which lost 1–0 in transfer to Aston Villa. It was the newcomer Duran, who in the 79th minute scored a super-goal from distance, to give the next three points to Unai Emery's side.

From surprise to surprise. Atletico Madrid were embarrassed 4-0 in Portugal by Benfica, while Liverpool made no mistake at Anfield against Bologna 2-0.

In other challenges, Monaco drew in the end against Dinamo Zagreb 2-2, while Club Brugge beat Sturm Graz in the transfer window.
