Spalletti is the favorite to take charge of Italy, but there is a problem
Spalletti and Conte

Coach Roberto Mancini's departure from Italy caught everyone by surprise. The main candidates to take his place are Luciano Spalletti and Antonio Conte. The Italian Football Federation may intervene to resolve Spalletti's issue with Napoli.

Mancini has said that he resigned for personal reasons, but it seems that he is being lured by Arabia. This decision of his has been considered an absurdity by the Italian sports opinion, at a very inappropriate moment for Italian football. However, everything has now become a fait accompli and the Italian Federation is looking for a new coach.

Luciano Spalletti and Antonio Conte are the two main candidates. The favorite is Spalletti, who tactically would have continuity with Mancini's 4-3-3. But there is a problem, related to the clause of 3 million euros, which connects the coach with Napoli until January. However, the president of the Italian Federation hopes to solve this problem with the president of Naples, De Laurentiis.

Conte, on the other hand, would bring experience and charisma, charging a group of players that has been somewhat troubled by the recent relegation. He was previously the coach of Italy and is available for the 'axurre' cause.
