Roma manager Jose Mourinho ejected the player Houssem Aouar last night, according to some sports media, but his gesture has an explanation.

In the 79th minute of his feeling with Partizan, Mourinho was seen calling Aouar and then throwing his hand to his neck, kicking him off the pitch and heading to the bench.

According to Italian media, there are two reasons why Mourinho left his team with 10 players minutes before the match ended.

A few moments ago, Partizan coach Zoran Zekic made a mistake by taking out a player, and would replace him with a player who had ejected him before. But this was denied by the referee, causing Partizan to be left with 10 players.

Mourinho, in a sign of fair play, decided to bring out a player too.

Why 25-year-old Aouar? During the match, the former Arsenal player was defending himself hard from Partizan players, which Mourinho noticed and decided to take him out to save him from injury.
