Milan gets the first victory in the Champions League

Milan has registered the first victory in the Champions League for this season. The Reds triumphed with the result 3-1 against Club Brugge, in the game valid for the third round.

It was a match with great suffering for the team led by Fonseca. The friends had come to this meeting motivated and were very attacking from the start, coming close to the goal on several occasions, but Maignan and Tranversa saved Milan.

In the 34th minute, Pulisic sparked a celebration at the San Siro, scoring from a corner kick to give the Italians the lead.

Everything became more difficult for the Belgians in the 40th minute when they were reduced to 10 men after Onyedika was sent off.

Although numerically inferior, Club Brugge managed to equalize the numbers in the 51st minute with Sabbe. However, the tie lasted only a few minutes, as Reijnders restored the home team's advantage in the 61st minute. 10 minutes later it was the same author, who also scored the third.

With this victory, Milan climbs to 18th place with 3 points.
