Lionel Messi could win his first MLS title!

Lionel Messi 's Inter Miami defeated New York City FC 5-1 in the Eastern Conference final , lifting the trophy and thus qualifying for the North American Soccer Championship (MLS) final.

The Florida team will aim for the title on December 6, hosting Tomas Müller's Vancouver Whitecaps, who defeated San Diego FC 3-1 and won the Western Conference Cup.

Argentine Tadeo Alende scored a hat-trick (14′, 23′, 89′), completed by goals from Mateo Silveti (67′), with assists from Messi and Telasco Segovia (83′) while Justin Hak (37′) scored the consolation goal for the hosts.

Thus, Messi will have the opportunity next week to win the North American championship for the first time, after ten titles in Spain with Barcelona and two in France with Paris Saint-Germain.
