Duka tells which Kosovo footballer he would like to join the Reds: I would

The president of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, has said that even though there is no possibility, the player from Kosovo who would like to be part of the "reds" is Edon Zhegrova.

In a television interview, Duka spoke about the progress of Kosovo, while he expressed optimism that the Dardans could be a contender team for the 2026 World Cup.

"Kosovo has a very good team, there are footballers with many qualities, despite the fact that there was a step behind against Romania. In the other matches they have been convincing and I hope they will continue like this until the end. It seems somewhat difficult for Kosovo to be first in the League of Nations. But even as the second in the group, I can play in the play-offs and I have a lot of confidence that even in the play-offs they will move to group B. They will be a contender for the World Cup in 2026. If the coach has changed , or time, I can't say that, but I know that he is an experienced coach. The regulation does not allow taking players who have been activated, but I would gladly take Zhegrova", said Duka.

In Group 2 of League C, Kosovo has nine points, three less than the leader Romania. In November, Franco Foda's team plays in Bucharest and hosts Lithuania.
