Paris Saint-Germain's French striker, Ousmane Dembélé, has won the Ballon d'Or, the most prestigious individual award in world football, for the first time in his career.
The 28-year-old had a historic season with PSG, scoring 35 goals and providing 14 assists in 53 matches, leading the team to a historic treble, including the first Champions League in the club's history.
Dembélé was also named joint top scorer in Ligue 1 with 21 goals and was named the best player in the French league and the Champions League.
He also contributed to the Club World Cup, where PSG reached the final, but were defeated by Chelsea in New Jersey.
In the race for the award, the Frenchman left behind Barcelona's supertalent, Lamine Yamal, ending a season where his dominance was undisputed.
