Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered his speech at the United Nations this evening, where the focus was on the development of Artificial Intelligence, its use in Albania, and the impact that technology can have on the lives and security of countries.

But Kosovo had high expectations, expecting Rama to talk more about the trial in The Hague, where four former KLA leaders were sentenced to a total of 81 years in prison.

This was confirmed by the headlines and news published today by the main media in Pristina.

"Rama delivers a speech at the UN General Assembly today: Will he talk about the KLA?", this was the headline of Klan Kosova.

" It is eagerly awaited whether the prime minister will include the issue of the KLA leaders in his speech, " writes the Telegraph.

"Kosovo without a voice at the UN, Rama talks about artificial intelligence," this is the headline of Koha.net.

"Edi Rama did not mention the punishment of KLA leaders at the UN", this is the headline of "Kosovapress".

In their writings, the media criticize the prime minister for not speaking out enough about the KLA case, which has sparked protests nationally and internationally.

"Not a single mention of Kosovo was made in the speech of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama at the United Nations General Assembly on Friday. For about 20 minutes, Rama spoke about artificial intelligence, its dangers, and called for an international agreement on "sovereign and democratic AI"," Koha.net writes.

On the other hand, "Kosovapress" writes that Rama did not mention the punishment of former KLA leaders at all in his speech at the UN General Assembly.

" The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, did not mention the punishment of former KLA leaders at all in his speech at the UN General Assembly. Rama's speech at the UN General Assembly focused on artificial intelligence, where he also mentioned ''Minister Diella'', but not the punishment of KLA leaders ," writes "Kosovapress".
