From the burned-out College of Europe building, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that this is not the work of students, as he invited them to dialogue. For the attacks on institutions and the unrest caused in Tirana over the last two days, he held the opposition responsible, as the hands that want to return Albania to the abyss.

The Prime Minister stated that there is no turning back and the journey towards the European Union continues. We will get through the difficult hours together, he said.

"Students are the future, they see far and want to go further and faster. Students are always welcome and for them we are always ready to sit down, talk, discuss and find solutions for things that require solutions. These are other hands. These are hands that try to bring Albania down every time it tries to go up. These are the hands of an opposition that, with masks of blind men, seek to return Albania to where it will never return. They seek to return it to the abyss from which we pulled it out and where we are climbing it, towards the dream for generations, the EU. The College of Europe happens to be the symbol today. These are difficult hours, but hours that we will all get through together because Albania will continue to climb, will continue on its path and never again will those hands that have grabbed it by the throat and have sunk the Albanian opposition deeper and deeper, they will not be able to catch Albania. Responsibility before the law is "Everyone. Everyone who has done this crap will pay because Albania will never go back. The crap that returned to its blindness, the ghost that will try to return will remain the past. The future belongs to the students, to Albania and to Albanians," said Rama.
