16 people have been arrested by the Police after the violent protest the previous day in Tirana, where for 9 hours the capital turned into an arena of clashes.

Masked protesters attacked the Ministry of Education and the Municipality of Tirana, destroyed businesses and ATMs, and set fire to garbage bins and other objects on the street.

20 people were injured in the violence, including 7 police officers and 2 journalists.
