Top News journalist, Xhoi Malësia, has reported an incident with police officers during the protest held today in Tirana.

Through a reaction on social media, Malësia, publishing the video from the incident, says that after complaining about the actions of several police officers, a Rapid Intervention Force (RNF) officer pointed a tear gas grenade launcher at him.

According to the journalist, the incident occurred in an area where only journalists were present. Malësia says he reacted after seeing officers throwing stones, behavior he described as unprofessional.

He claims that, following his complaint, a police officer pointed the device used to throw tear gas canisters at him.

Malësia says that he will file a complaint with the Police Supervision Agency (AMP) the next day.
