Albania is holding today in Brussels the 9th Intergovernmental Conference with the European Union, within the framework of the accession negotiations process. During a conference that is already being held, the closure of negotiations for three chapters is expected to be formalized: Chapter 25, Scientific Research, Chapter 26, Education and Culture and Chapter 31, Foreign Relations.

One of the questions addressed to Prime Minister Edi Rama during his speech by the journalists present had to do with the long-discussed project in Zvërnec.

Rama emphasized that everything is being done according to the rules and that this project will make Albania and Europe proud.

"I learned from my long years in office that when you say Brussels, it is a very complex word. For us, all voices in Brussels are quite respectable, but there is one word that we take seriously, which is the voice of the Commission, which is at the top of everything, being based on facts. As I always say, in this world with very chaotic information systems and views where the truth always finds much less space, the Commission remains the one that firmly maintains objectivity because it works on facts.

And I'm sure that if you were interested in facts, verified work, you would understand that the project cannot be seen anywhere because it has not been approved.

Everything is being done according to the rules from day one, and when I say this is the EU Commission's book, the idea that Albania would continue with something that would not be in line with the complete holy book of atheist standards that Albania is, is a baseless claim.

"We are going to make a project that is a source of pride for Albania and Europe, and in the process we will be as we have been so far, very, very rigorous, we will only seek something that will make everyone proud," said Rama.
