"Revolt" in the DP against Berisha, after the decision to boycott Parliament

A statement by Sali Berisha, which hinted that there would be a discussion in the Democratic Party about whether or not to boycott the plenary sessions, seems to have been a decision for the deputies.

On Monday, Democrats were not present in the chamber, but not everyone agreed. 

Jorida Tabaku, Bujar Leskaj, Ina Zhupa and other MPs have argued that they are being deprived of the best opportunity to express the opposition's positions.

DP MP Ina Zhupa said:

" In any case, I think that non-participation deprives us of the only public platform we have for debate!"

We have tried not to leave many times and we know the consequences! We must use every space we have for confrontation! "

DP MP Bujar Leskaj said:

" In the last meeting, everyone we discussed was against not going to the session, but that day it was late and there was no other choice for that session. With the idea of ??our laws not being introduced (like these 13 years), it doesn't make sense that tomorrow there will be no laws on the agenda at all."

It is a session for voter issues and resolutions for institutions, as Bujari says, with importance for denunciations and positions. So it falls in September in the session and I don't know what good it brings us as a parliamentary opposition!!! ".

The debate is learned to have taken place in a closed-door meeting but also continued in the Blue headquarters' Whatsapp group. For the Democrats, boycotting is not an uncharted path, as it has been attempted several times by them, even though they continue to participate in committees.
