Today in the Court of Tirana, a session will be held where the request of the head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, for the deregistration of Lulzim Basha as the chairman of the Democratic Party will be examined.

The session will start at 11:00.

The decision on Basha's deregistration request was made by the National Council in July last year.

A group of deputies has been tasked with following all legal and statutory steps for the implementation of the Council's decision, as well as for the representation of the Democratic Party, in legal ways to oppose any act that contradicts the decision. Also, the National Council of the Democratic Party, as the highest governing body of the Party, has authorized the deputies to request the de-registration of the former Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha from the register of political parties on behalf of the Democratic Party of Albania.
