After the end of the joint conference, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, posted a photo on his Facebook page with the Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama.
Next to the photo, Vucic writes that the political relations between the countries have improved through the "Open Balkans" initiative and that Edi Rama is always welcome in Serbia.
"I welcomed Edi Rama. After decades of silence in the relations between Serbia and Albania, but also between Serbs and Albanians, we both started to change the bad political legacy. In previous years, we have shown with concrete results that our countries can move forward and develop faster, we had better political relations from the "Open Balkan" initiative.
Edi Rama is always welcome in our country and Serbia will do its best to always develop sincere and friendly relations with the Republic of Albania", writes Vuçiç.
Vucic said earlier that Belgrade seeks peace and that it is working towards such a thing. He even did not rule out the possibility of a meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.
