During an interview on the "Zone-Zero" show, Manjani said that the former minister Koka, but also the general public, has the right to raise doubts that there is strong political interference in this trial, as Koka stated in yesterday's hearing. saying that he is behind bars because of ex-president Ilir Meta and ex-president of LSI Monika Kryemadhi.

According to Manjani, the defense of the accused is dignified, and they deserve the same attention as the accusation, so that the public gets to know both sides of the story.

I say this because until now the public has only heard the accusations, news made up by one side or the other. The public needs to know both sides of this issue because it is very difficult to see. The public must understand how fair the court is. Yesterday afternoon I had the opportunity to take a look at all the claims that Lefter Koka's lawyers have presented during the court session, I also got to know the excellent and exceptional defense in Mërtirit", said Manjani .

Regarding the absence of 40 fascicles from the file, Manjani said that it is a scandal, that if it had happened in any Western country, it would have led to the immediate suspension of the case.

" Such a fact would be enough for any court in the West to drop the charge on the spot, the charge is immediately dismissed as worthless. The prosecutor went to the trial with evidence and in the trial it turns out that the evidence is not there, it was hidden. In every court of the world that is independent from politics and does not ask because of the pressure of prosecutors, the accusation is dropped, it is worthless. This includes those cases where the evidence disappears, these are given in institutional justice as serious or very serious events. These are called murders. You go to court and you don't know the evidence. You go to court and say "my God, you didn't ask me once about the truth". If it were a courtroom in the West, the court would have stopped the trial before scandals of this nature. Perhaps our court is not independent enough to make fair decisions. Everyone has a right to assume that you take your orders elsewhere. I don't know where, but Lefteri has a proposal ", concluded Manjani.
