Prime Minister Edi Rama has removed Belinda Balluku from the position of SP political leader for the Tirana Region, appointing Ogerta Manastirliu in her place.

Rama announced this decision in passing today while addressing the Socialists of Unit 5.

This is the first public distancing that Rama and the Socialists have made towards Balluku, who has already been officially accused by SPAK for the multi-million euro Llogara tunnel affair.

"And for this reason, we support the municipality to do its best for the budget. And for this reason, we thought, with Ogerta, as the political leader of the region, but also as a member of parliament for Tirana, to continue communicating in these hearings, so that I can participate as much as possible, the hearings that we will hold throughout the territory," declared Rama.
