Debates were not lacking in the Committee on Internal Affairs and Defense, where the DP MP, Flamur Noka, once again became the protagonist.

The Democrat clashed today with the Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, during his report to the Parliamentary Committee on the 2026 draft budget.

Noka accused the minister of seeing reality through rose-colored glasses and that the accusations against the former DP government were inappropriate, since according to him, it was the one that made Albania a member of NATO. "You are seeing reality through rose-colored glasses," he told Noka-Veng.

But during the reply, Pirro Vëngu said that he did not have rose-colored glasses, but only glasses, while saying that he had not expressed "love" for Noka. "I am not wearing rose-colored glasses, but only glasses," the minister replied.

After this reply, Noka addressed him saying that "I am a man in all respects." "With that law you passed, I don't know who you belong to. While I am known as a man... In every aspect, I am considered a man," said Noka.

But during the replies, Vengu said that Noka was talking nonsense, while the democrat returned the favor, saying that the latter's career was built by cartels.
