After the meeting with the heads of the branches of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha declared that Albania is in a situation where "a regime has been installed."

Berisha accused the government of massively violating the free vote of Albanians and violating international law, as well as using the state’s potential to “steal the vote of citizens.” He also denounced connections with criminal groups and government allies, who he said were preventing Albanians from exercising their right to vote freely.

According to Berisha, this regime aims to remain in power in an unstoppable and programmed manner, making the citizens' vote worthless. He emphasized that any condition and price is used to maintain power, severely damaging the democratic process in the country.

Berisha: We are in a situation where the regime has been installed. It exposed with its ugliness the massive violation of the free vote of Albanians, it exposed with all its power the violation of international law, or the use of the potential of the state, to rob the vote of Albanians. It exposed the machetes of criminal gangs, of the government's allies, to prevent Albanians from voting freely. It proved that in a programmed, unstoppable manner, at any cost and cost, it will remain in power and that the vote of Albanians is something worthless to it.
