During his report to the Committee on Internal Affairs and Defense, Koçiu said that " in no country in the world can a police officer stand in the kitchen to prevent a son from killing his father, or a pizzeria owner from killing the chef ."

According to her, these are tragic events, but the work of the state police is not implicated.

"There are three serious crimes, but they are not mafia murders, but they are inevitable from the work that the police do. I do not believe that there is any place in the world where a police officer would stand in the kitchen to prevent a son from stabbing his father with a bread knife, or in a place in the world where a police officer would stand in the restaurant kitchen to prevent a pizza chef from stabbing the chef. These are tragic events, but the work of the state police is not implicated. The perpetrators have been caught behind the events," said Albana Koçiu.
