An important development was reported on Wednesday evening, a few minutes before the end of the submission of lists of candidates for MPs to the CEC for the May 11 elections.

The current DP MP, Dashnor Sula, has been registered on the open list of candidates for MP with the "Nisma Shqipëria Behet" coalition, a merger of the "Nisma Thurje" and the "Parti Shqipëria Behet", of Endri Shabani and Adriatik Lapaj.

Sula will run in the Elbasan district.

Sula made this decision after Sali Berisha decided not to include him on the DP list.

Sula stated that the only reason for this is that he has supported the justice structures, SPAK.
