Prime Minister Edi Rama had warned that the Socialist Party's list of candidates for MPs should have "new blood".

For the next parliament, a full 24 MPs will be absent, having been replaced by new names, some of whom were selected by the "Deputy We Want" platform.

Among the names that stand out are those of Petro Koçi, Nasip Naço, Ilir Metaj, but also Paulin Stërkaj.

Meanwhile, some of the current MPs are on open lists, which puts them at risk of being part of the new Parliament.
