The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his closing speech at the protest accused police leaders of attacking senior DP officials during the protest.

"You stood undefeated against the terror of a regime that was brought down tonight like a barbaric invader. Your voice, your resistance turned into true terror for Edi Rama's drug regime. Today, on Rama's orders, Skënder Balluku, the traitor Sokol, the traitor Bizhga, and Enton Allushi, the chief of the operational unit, have shown their true faces as professional criminals. They have nothing in common with police officers, but are criminals who think they will repel an entire people in the name of the Rama-Balluku duo.

The Rama-Balluku file is not closed until the last day of their lives, there is no force in the world that can protect them from popular punishment. Today, in the name of Balluku and Rama, Skënder Balluku targeted and hit the main leaders of the DP. Luciano Boci is in the hospital with burns, Noka suffered a stroke but continues his duties, Klevis Balliu, journalist Aulon Kalaja, a revenge for his stances against the regime. Other leaders and activists are injured. Today, Sokol Balluku has used bombs against protesters" , said Berisha.

Berisha warned that the protests will not stop. He stressed that the next date will be announced very soon.

He stressed that it is important for the opposition to unite.

"It will be decided very soon. We will not withdraw. Our peaceful uprising will not withdraw. All forms of protests will be used. This peaceful uprising has the mission of overthrowing the narco-regime. This is a mission of the DP, but also of other opposition forces and other interest groups and we will do everything to unite in a common front. The seventh or eighth in a row, previously unknown in Albania, has Albanian and world support," he said.
