And while the opposition protest is taking place in Tirana, Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Barcelona, ??Spain, where he was hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of Catalonia in a special meeting with representatives of local businesses and institutions.
During the meeting, Rama said that Albania has undergone a significant transformation in international perception, moving from a negative image of the past to an increasingly attractive country for tourists and foreign investors.
In a post on social networks, Rama underlines that today Albania has become one of the favorite destinations of young Spanish people, who are showing increased interest in Albanian tourism and culture.
Rama added that this development is a result of the improvement of the country's image, as well as the increase in economic and cultural cooperation with Spain. He also assessed that state relations between Albania and Spain have never been at a better level than at present.
According to him, cooperation between the two countries is expanding in various fields, including economy, tourism and cultural exchanges. Rama emphasizes that this is an important moment for the further strengthening of bilateral relations and for increasing Albania's presence in the European market.
