DP MP Luciano Boçi stated during the DP protest that the opposition was physically attacked by the police, who threw tear gas.

"These people attacked the deputies without motivation because they are used for 500 thousand lek. Journalists have also been attacked and this is vile. We often defend these people and talk about their salaries and their role and here they are against the citizens and the DP deputies.

"The citizens here are for dignity, because the DP is coming for you and your children. Shame on you. Each of you is guilty along with your leaders. Vile people. It was a direct physical attack organized and designed against people and journalists. A new leader has come and whoever comes becomes more aggressive," said Boçi.

After the speech, Boçi was hit by tear gas and transported to the hospital for medical attention.
