In a reaction to the media after the end of the votes, Vangjel Tavo, the new mayor of the Municipality of Himara, has publicly invited his rival Gjikurina to become the deputy mayor of the municipality, as the municipality needs both left and right.

Today he starts the work to realize the promises he gave to the residents, since the problems have no color and according to him everyone should be united.

"Himara won today, the Himarjotes won, I want to thank everyone for the patience they had to listen to us during the campaign and for voting for me. From today we start working on all that we have promised the residents, all left and right, problems have no color, all united. The offer was sincere, if Gjikuria will not leave for America, he is welcome to become the deputy mayor, the municipality needs left and right", said Tavo.
